Tips Browsing the Internet Faster With Windows XP


When we are using a computer and surf our chance, we would know the term browsing. Well there is a tip for us to browse faster, the OS windons computer using Windows XP Prof or Home Edition.

In windows there is a such thing called a complete QoS Quality of service provided in order to ensure that your network is working properly. But in fact it is not so useful but that certainly can take up to 20% of your bandwidth. You can try and see the difference when QoS is disabled.

Steps to turn off QoS measures are as follows:

For Windows XP Professional

1. Click Start, then Run.

2. Type "gpedit.msc" in the search box and press enter.

3. In the Local Computer Policy, click the plus sign on the Computer Configuration, then click Administrative Templates again.

4. Click the plus sign and select the Network QoS Packet Scheduler.

5. At the right of the box, double-click on Limit reservable bandwidth.

6. In Settings, select Enabled.

7. In the Bandwidth Limit% box, replace it to 0%. (Do not leave it blank)

8. Click OK.

For Windows Home Edition

1. Click Start and then select Settings.

2. Select Control Panel, and open Network Connections

3. Right-click on Local Area Connection and select Properties.

4.Pada General tab, missing a check in QoS.
